New frag rack

I recently got some egg crate and wasn’t thinking about the color. It is chrome. Does anyone know if it is saltwater safe? Please help!!!

I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't use it.
It's presumably a chrome paint or coating over white or black eggcrate.
If the chrome contains metals or toxins, these could potentially leach into the water.
However if anyone has tried this and knows for sure that it's safe, that would be different.
