a lotGreat time. Thanks for everyone that set this event up. It's seemed very busy. How many people showed up ?
of coarse you had a blast. you have to use a wheel barrel to carry out all your prizes. lolhad a blast! we need a repeat
the place was very nice. There was a few good deals but mostly i think it was more of a show than a frag swap. i am looking forward to next year's event.
to me frag swap is more like going to the swap shop and buying some let's say car audio. A frag show was more like going to best buy and buying the same car audio. The difference would be there. I think frag swap sounds less commercial than frag show. If indeed it was a frag swap then it should have allowed non commercial vendors. I am not aware of all the FWC laws and have no idea who is and wasn't a true commercial shop. Everyone seem to have fair pricing and was a pleasure doing business with them. I just feel the name should have been frag and coral show. not swap.Johnny- Im curious to know what the difference between a frag swap, and a frag show is??? Ive heard this terminology before but dont understand it.
Many of the guys selling corals at that event where hobbyist that where forced to become commercial entities because of "hazy" FWC rules, and jeolous snitches that called FWC on them becuase their tanks grew out and they had to either create business enterprises to get an aquaculture licenses, or throw theirs excess corals in the garbage.
Whats the difference between a "frag swap" and a "frag show"?

swap[ swop ]
verb (used with object) [swapped, swap·ping.]
1. to exchange, barter, or trade, as one thing for another: He swapped his lps for the sps
There was no doubt it was successful. it was very busy and some good deals. hats off to people that organized it. I was one that left with stuff. I don't think anyone can take away that it was successful. now let's see what they plan for next year.I'm more confused lol. The show was awesome!! I was 6 hours wheeeling and dealing non stop. Every vendor had a smile in their faces and every hobbyist had stuff in their hands. A lot of people doubted us and even tried to sabotage us but in the end hard work and effort payed off. I want to thank all the vendors that put faith in us and ran with it. Next year it will be even nicer with better quality. Stay tuned!!!
That was my first coral event and i must say it was a blast! Great prices and great people! All vendors were nice except coral oceans (i thought they were very rude to me), but overall great experience! I had such a nice time that i will be going to coralcon 2014. I expect the same energy and hopefully nice corals!
