I Purchased a 20 long tank during the 1$ per gallon sale to use as a frag tank last week and a couple of glass hole bits (1" and 2") Tonight i successfully drilled my 1 " over flow in the back of the tank. This weekend I start the sump build.

My oveflow for the frag tank is not that nice, I just have two 90's and a filter screen that allows me to adjust the water level in the tank by a small amount. I am waiting on my other two hole cutters to arrive to put in the return. My plan is to install a 1/2" return in each end of the tank with the overflow in the center to direct flow. this will be pretty close to the overflow level to prevent flooding the sump when siphon in broken. Since they are so cheap I may go get another 1$ a gallon tank to use as my sump as well.. I plan to have a area for skimmer, and live rock , then seperated by a bubble trap the return pump (Using the KISS priciple here) The main lighting fro the tank will be an Aqualight Pro with 150W MH and Compact Flo. Since this will be frag tank I have built a DIY Cree LED to make the frags pop. After the sump the next focus is the skimmer do I use the one I have currently then upgrade the skimmer on my display tank? or Do I go cheap and get one for this light bio load?
