I have a new frag tank, its 48" x 24" x 12" tall, I have 2 Maxspect R420R LED.
the zoas, are not all opening, a couple flower pots are not to happy. I am thinking of getting a Kessil 360.
I just set up a Lifereef sump with refugium. just asking for any advice.
I set this up hoping to be able to start different corals, so I can see how they might go into my different display tanks, at this point I only have 2 DT.

I was using the same lights on my tanks before I switched... Had mine at 12” off water... Those fixtures will grow pretty much anything... I had the 16k and 14k models with the wide angle lenses... the 14k had a brighter MH look to it... and the 16k had a more violet/purple to it, also had uv mixed in with each puck as well... best thing to do with those lights is set it and forget it... Give the tank some time to adjust... I love those razors... parts are easy to get and you can pretty much fix anything on them yoirself... holding on to them just in case I get another tank... @saltyfilmfolks knows alot about these fixtures, but I havent heard from him in awhile... hope I helped a little...

Good lights man... Just set up the timer and intensity... and leave it... I had a 6.5hr peak lighting period and they were on for a total of 11.5hrs... I had a ramp up in the morning starting with only blues then slowly bumped the whites until the peak... I ran 100% blues and 75% whites during the 6.5hr peak... then ramped down with all blues again... Now im not telling you to crank that thing up right away... Im just telling you what I ran it at on my tank... Take it slow... My frag tank is the same depth as yours 12”, I found that the fixture had great spread at 12” above water line... I was getting around 200-350 par at that level on peak, 200 being on the outsides of the tank and 350 directly under each puck... Stick with the lights... you will like them...

Thats with the 120 degree white lenses though... If you have the original lenses, be careful! Because they are extremely intense directly over the top of anything...
