Sorry, I got a little bit frustrated and deleted the post, I am very new to this site and I did not see where I could put my questions in the proper forum.
So getting on to the original post I have the pic's above for a new frag tank, actually the one I am about to buy it is 24x24x8 and holds roughly 20g. I have a complete love for Zoa's and Paly's I have had my tank for a year now and my Zoa's (low end types) are doing very very well. So I wanted to take my love for them to the next level and get more expensive ones like Captain America's, Armageddon 2 (Tyree), the original AoG's and Blonde Blue Eye B*****s. So my plan is to start a frag tank not plumbed into my tank which is only a 40b. So I have the funds for my adventure into awesomeness and I plan to go forward with it. I was just looking for some guidance on the proper setup. My 40b has an CPR Aquafuge HOB w/PS (Large) so I have no experience with the sump or plumbing. I just want to do it the right way the first time instead of me just trying to figure it out as I go. So I call upon the aquarist Gods for guidance =) Any and all help comments or guidance will be very much appreciated and welcomed with open ears!

exactly what guidance are you looking for? what kind of light are you using? using sump? any other info you need? maybe you just didnt get replies because you need to ask specific questions?

I did in the original, I just got inpatient I have been looking for a while now I have a friend who sells frags and has a setup but stopped talking to me when I said I wanted to start with Zoa's and Paly's. He does not talk to me anymore because of that and we will be 3 states away, lol. Ok I will be running a 100w Reefkoi Evolution Dimmable LED on a 24x24x8 appx. 20g tank pics above, my tank will be new. I have never run a frag tank before I need guidance on the setup or a diagram of sorts. Things such as plumbing and equipment suggestions, keeping in mind that I have the light and tank already =)

How far are your shelf going to be off the bottom? what are you doing for bio-filtration? What type of flow and current are you shooting for? are you going to run just a sump or a Refugium? You should look in to miracle mud and see if that would be something you are interested in great for major and minor elements renewal and help a lot with the propagation building blocks. What type of salt I use brightwell Neo -marine great salt IMO in over a year i have not had to dose magnesium one time. Get a book just on zoa/paly propagation lot of pest and fungus problems to read on and learn how to spot. Good luck man I'll be looking for your goods

I will be using a refugium, I have had luck with my CPR aquafuge. I also planned on just Instant Ocean salt mix that is what I currently use when I need it I usually go to Global Aquatics it is a wholesale company near me that sells Saltwater @ .59/g, however I will be using a a RO/DI system that I am buying with all the equipment. I planned on a refugium with crushed coral substrate seeded with live sand and figi live rock. Like I said that was my plan.I also have 2 books on the way. I would like to know if anyone out there has a design that I could use as a go by, and do I need a calcium reactor, suggestions on a skimmer. I know I am wading into deep waters but I am willing to take the risk. Also how far should the shelf be?
