I got a reef savvy frag tank this last weekend. Its 30x 18x 8. I have at 29 gallon sump. I added baffles to have a refugium in the sump. I will be running a sc-65 protein skimmer. I have 4 koralia nano 425gph powerheads. I'm building my lights setup to have complete control. I have a 150w metal hallide that I will be running towards 1 side for better SPS growth and coloration. I will be adding a led setup around the hallide and all the way across the other side if the frag tank. I will have 36 blues and 24 whites. When I have everything complete ill post some pics.

sounds like it will be awesome..

Here are the pics of the new tank setup.

Gmoney - I plan on running the mh only 3-4 hours a day. Also I have added a smaal piece of sheet metal to block the led's from the heat.

I have Rick with Atomic Reef building me a black acrylic canopy to put around the metal frame. Once I get that I'll get some more pics up. I have a lot of frags in it now. Also, I added a gfo reactor and added a mp10 instead of the koralias.

Can't wait to get my 40 done cycling to do this tank swap. All my levels are exactly where I want them. Adding the 40lbs of rock in the display will only make it better.

Yeah. I love the tank, the only reason I'm swapping to the 40g is because I want more water and more fish options. The LEDs have done great.
