What kind of lights are you using?
How is ur flow in that area?

I'm going to try and explain this but I'm not great at explaining stuff...
So ur par can change strength even tho there at the same height in ur tank....
Par can either get lower or stronger wrist by water flow. High water flow will bring down ur par bc it's more turbulent and making it harder for the light waves to make it through.
Example: with no flow in my tank and the top of the water just inside par read 1300 and at the bottom par was 900.
Once I turned on all my Powerheads par just under water top was 850 and the bottom was 200ish...

So what this all means is if ur coral went from having good flow on it from where it was to somewhere that might now have as much flow but still the same height it can be getting no flow and higher par so the coral bleached its self out

Just a thought

How long ago did you frag it? Is it turning white at the base, the tips, or all over? Tips turning white on a BN indicates growth in some varieties... the first time I noticed it on mine I freaked out but it was just growing. But then again you have a mother colony (that was my first frag) so you probably know this already.
