I have a 100 gallon salt water tank with many soft corals and several species of fish. Just starting out, but a well established tank. We just recently started putting coral in the tank and we all wished we would of done it sooner!. The corals are beautiful!. I was told by or fish store personnel that Reef Energy A/B would be a good source of vitamins and nutrients for our coral, is this true. I've seen and read both positive and somewhat negative reviews on this. Looking forward to continuing and expanding my tank.

Welcome to R2R! I use Reef Energy on my display tanks at the store and truly enjoy it. You have to be careful about overdosing it though as that can cause problems including turning the tank neon green for a while.... which I did a couple times because my math skills arn't quite what they should be :D

Thanks for the input. My first dose was tonight. I added 8 ml (4&4) . Skimmer off. The package insert doesn't really say, but is this vitamin/nutrient additive something you give everyday, as long as you monitor your levels?

Welcome aboard!
Another question from the new guy in Vegas...... Since I've put live coral in my tank, I've noticed these "bubble-like" formations on the back wall of my tank. Is this something I shouldn't worry about our is this helpful in my tank?. Curious
Thanks!

You on the local LV Facebook pages? Nothing against this forum, as it's a great place for info, but there's some great people that are close to home for you to rely on too.

I finally found after many years of frustration of people telling me erroneous info, a place that intelligently tell me what I can do and can't. The staff at Aquatic Treasures had been a ton of help!

Here is a partial picture of my tank, but as you can see, on my back wall of the tank are these bubble like formations all over. Started out as random, now taking over the wall and looking like they'll make their turn to the side and front of tank.

Who and where do you recommend?... Somewhat new to the coral community, but willing to seek out knowledge from others.
Thanks for your input!

Join here. There's great people that are willing to give you time and advice. They just had a frag swap at Aquatic Treasures this past Saturday. They're always doing something

Edit: definitely not taking away from R2R. Just giving you an opportunity to meet local reefers and be involved in local events.
