New from Sudbury, Ontario, Canada first reef!

I have had tanks before largest at 25 gallons, but they were always freshwater tanks. I always wanted to try a reef tank with live rock and fish, not sure about any invertebrates not sure if LEDs will support them. So I pick up a 28 gallon main tank and am using an old 5 gallon as my sump, my heater and skimmer will all be in the sump. I've been researching for the past month and am now ready to start my reef, Im going to start with only 1 or 2 fish and live rock with a sand bottom, then slowly add corals.

If anyone in Canada can recommend a good online company to purchase rock fish and coral from it would be greatly appreciated, where Im located it is very hard to get marine livestock.

If you wanted i have a bunch of live rock, and some easy care corals to start you off with. I'm from the 400 & highway 9 area though, so it would be up to you if that's worth the drive. Pm me if your interested, this site is filled with great info to get you on your way as well!

I was on the jlaquatics site and it seemed to be the best Canadian site I could find, I will definitely let you know about the live rock and coral. Also when you had stuff shipped from jlaquatics how long did it take to arrive and how was it delivered??

Order Friday, you'll get it Saturday. I believe they will only ship live items to be received on a saturday. You have to order prior to a certain time, it should say on their site. Very well packaged. I picked it up from the airport, I only live about 30 mins away so I thought it was worth it. You might wanna look into that part a bit further. Give them a call, they have great customer service.
