So long story short, we went to Florida for vacation and brought home some hitchhikers amongst the couple hundred shells we picked up. 5 of them to be exact. We've done our best and spent a bunch of money to keep these guys alive. I've learned so much and must admit I've become addicted to the aquarium hobby. I just wish I had known more prior to diving head first into it lol.
Well, my 40g breeder is about done with its first cycle and these little (not so little actually) fellas have survived a suitcase airplane ride and the tank cycle. My questions would be....
1) does anyone else own thinstripe crabs from the Gulf and if so what food/snack have you found to be the most nutritional for them
2) is adding coral safe with these guys or are they prone to destroying coral
3) what species of fish would do well to share a tank with these guys (or gals)?
Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you to all those who take time to read this and view the pictures.
