Yea thats true I wouldn't fight a raise. Back on subject Has any one ever seen or delt with the transparent skin on a chalice. When it was deflated i would say it was all ressecion but at night i can see well i think it puffs out.

You my freind live around some sick places i would have somthign to do every nights. My GF would kill me there would be no more "us" time i would have my calander marked for when they get new shipments.

yes I am:) I know what you mean about the GF. my wife always shakes her head at me when I come home with a bag. Or if I say i'm going north or south she says. "you?? drive your gas hog truck somewhere?? whats the catch?" haha good thing Ian is on my way home from work :)

not too sure about the chalice skin. my guess is keep it in a darker area in the tank and hope it'll bounce back. or hit up Ian and see what he thinks

Ian basicly sad the same thing. He says its a under rock dwelling piece it needs to be in low light. If i put it in direct light 37 inches away (coral to fixture) it wont enflate. I have it under a over hanging cliff in the tank.

Yea im sure i will every so often maybe ill update this thread once every month since it is a very pricy piece. Also i have never seen a good progression serious of a high end chalice.

YEah that storm jacked up fedex pretty bad.. i had almost half my boxes dealyed or late.. But it was the customers call and they were willing to take the chance even after my warning.. :squigglemouth:

Man I am going nuts here....cant wait to get mine. It looks a lot more red than I had though from Ian's pics but cool none the less. Hopefully weather permitting I will get mine next week. I look forward to following your progression pics.

I was considering putting this into my 60 gallon cube with a 250W MH (20k). I suppose if I do that I should keep it in a shady spot ?

Yup one of the sickest of all times!!!!!! Mine just glows man!!!! Pure insanity lol....:xd:

I love the way this glows. IT isnt red nor does it have red pigaments but it has a shin of red to it, truely a unique piece i feel bad for the poeple who didnt jump on it.

How freakin'..... well you know what ! I got mine today and it was absolutely well worth the wait. I took it home during my lunch hour and had such a tough time leaving it when I had to go back to work. It is simply one of the most amazing corals I have ever owned. You are totally right about the red shimmer, I placed mine under a ledge on the bottom making it tough to get a good picture but this is hands down better than I could have ever expected. Cant wait to get home and see how my new little fella is doing. I am so very thankful I jumped on this, I think I was the last one.

Make sure its in shade

Sweet pickup man! It is one of the nicer pieces I've seen in a while! Good call on keeping under the overhang. Saved many pieces in the shade.
