New goby lowering phosphates??

Morning All

I have been watching my new blue cheek goby sifting sand for a few days now. A great little fish. Since I bought him 5 days ago phosphate is down from 0.2 to 0.09. Is he doing this all by himself? I have not changed anything else.

Most likely testing error.

LOL That is encouraging! Oddly my phosphate has been stuck at around 0.2 for months. I was hoping the goby is picking up all the spare food from the sand bed. Also hoping that Hanna checker is reliable. At the end of the day we all depend on various testers which may or may not be accurate.
