Hello! I got my new GSP on Monday and for the first few days it was eating great, and had nice white plump belly. Well starting yesterday it did not want to eat any of its food. I tried brine shrimp, regular shrimp, and snails (I only did a little bit of each, and removed after a few minutes). I first thought that maybe it was just full and didn’t care for anymore food until I noticed a white stringy thing coming from his bottom. I knew that it was more than likely some type of internal parasite, so I went and got some General Cure. I began that treatment last night and this morning the puffer seems about the same. It doesn’t look unhealthy at all and is swimming around just fine. I did try to give him some food this morning, and he picked at it a little bit, but did not go crazy over it. Any ideas on other ways to help? Should I trust the medicine is doing its thing and helping him? Do you feed your fish while on GC?

Yes. Feed as it will eat. My Blue Spot loved those frozen half clams from Hakari. General Cure can sometimes bother the fish's eating a bit.
