Hi Folks,
I was gifted some chalice corals and purchased an alien brain maze coral and noticed that some areas on the coral are getting a little white/pale. It's generally on the stony structure surrounding the plyops, and not the polyps themselves. Those are full color.
I have them in a Red Sea Reefer 750 in the bottom 1/4 of the tank below ReefLED 90s. I was running the 90s at 50% power but after seeing the white lowered it down to 40% thinking it was light stress. The corals however are feeding well on Reef Roids.
Now that I think about it, it might actually be growth as the polyps expand. Any thoughts?
