New guy. But not young guy.

Hello. Just joined today. New to reef keeping but love it so far. My grandkids get to learn with me a d it fun.

I figured I would start out small with a aquatop24 gallon all in one and so far it has been pretty successful. Been going for a year. I have killed 2 corals but no fish. Dwarf angel and a clown that likes to eat off my finger...Found out that my corals didn't like too much calcium.

Welcome! When I was a young guy I went from a 90G to a 29G all in one. It was a great tank and I only shut it down to move. You will have a blast with it.

Welcome! Glad you joined. Sorry for your losses, but I've also had some coral losses as we get better with maintaining water stability and testing.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:

Welcome to the community! It's always nice to have a hobby you can share with family and learn together along the way. I look forward to seeing your setup. :-)
