New guy from middle tn

Hello to all, and hope everyone had a merry Christmas! I am new to the forum but not new to the hobby. I Have had FW tanks the entirety of my life. That being said i am now venturing into the realm of SW. I have a 30 gal cube, not a biocube, that is currently in day 4 of a cycle. 10 pounds live rock, adding small amounts every few days. ~2" sand bed. Need to upgrade lighting. Currently running 15w T8 18" single. Also rolling around the thought of drilling this cube for sump. As of now i have a wisper EX 70 with only filter floss. In the long term i want a reef with only a few fish. Short term just wanting to get this thing stable, run a CuC through it, and get equiptment to make this tank reef worthy.
