New guy from Northern Indiana

New to the forum. I have been out of reef aquarium keeping for the last 5-6 years. Just wanted to say hello to everyone here. I will be starting a 56 gallon reef tank soon. The tank is not drilled, sadly it's tempered glass and I am unable to just drill it myself. I am still debating whether to use on overflow and sump/refugium or just use hang on back style equipment. Any opinions or pros and cons would be great.

I agree, I would much prefer a drilled tank(and one much larger than 56 gallons), but what I have currently is what I have to work with for now, and being tempered it can't be drilled. So... I'm not sure if it's worth the potential issues to use and overflow and sump or just stick with HOB equipment until i can get what I really want. Being in an apartment limits the size of things.
