Hello all!

I have been reefing since about 2007, I have been on a few forums under similar names (FishOnTheBrainCoral, FishOnTheBrainC, FishOnTheBrain)

I live near Seattle in Gig Harbor My current tank is a 54 corner mixed reef. I have a sof spot for Zoas and SPS, I have had some smaller tanks over the years and several set up at once, but the three year old has taken up the majority of my time (and reef funds) lately.
I run a pretty simple setup to keep it easy for the wife (she like to look at it but not play with it), since I work out of town frequently. I will post a tank thread in near future and go into detail there.

Seems like a busy place, should help if there is any 3am disasters. Hopefully those years are behind me, but you never know. It always seems to happen when you get up in the wee hours of the morning, turn the light on for a "quick check" and find things not right.

Anyways enough chat :) here are some pics of my tank.

LED, ReefCorner. Not very high end but it does the job. I'm thinking about changing some of the emmitters cause I'm not a huge fan of the color. Not enough blue for my liking, and what is there is a bit windexy

I have been playing with placement on it as well. I had to SLOWLY bring it up not to bleach out coral. I also have to be really careful putting new coral in for same reason.

I started to raise it in the last few months trying to get my acropora and digitata to branch. It tends to encrust ALOT. Color is finally getting there but I want more branching.

I have had the tricolor in the top tight thefe for over a year. And it's growing, but just thicker and more encrusting.
I've been blaming it on the LED :)
