Hi all...just set up an IM Panorama tank a couple weeks ago. Really excited to get back into reefing. A few hiccups with the setup...I dig the tank but the IM Skyye light was awful, broke immediately and so did its replacement. Also had to replace the factory pump because I had tons of micro bubbles coming out of the return nozzles. So not a lot of confidence in IM accessories. But so far the tank is cool.

Upgraded to AI Prime LED, using the IM desktop Ghost skimmer and jury is out. It is bubbling fine but not really pulling any skimmate. I guess I could have a low bio load.

Just added 2 clowns and a small cleanup crew. Also 2 small zoa colonies. So far so good!

Welcome! We have one of these at the store and I've been itching to set it up. Your's looks great!

Hey thanks! I really like it so far. As I said earlier the only thing that frustrated me were some of the IM accessories. But if you go with stuff you trust I think you will be really happy with it.

The only mystery for me now is the Ghost Skimmer. I have it about halfway open for air, looks like it is still breaking in. Hoping it starts pulling stuff soon!

Ok here is a brief update...about 6 weeks in or so on the tank...so far so good...clowns doing great, and added a Yellow Watchman Goby and Tiger Pistol Shrimp today...acclimated them together in the same bowl but don't think they have "paired" yet. Hopefully they do (fingers crossed)...

Added a fuzzy mushroom 2 weeks ago, and torch frag and 2 heads of trumpet coral also today...going to give everything a couple weeks to settle in and will send updates.

The IM Ghost Skimmer is starting to pull more consistent tea-colored skim mate. It still tends to be very wet, but at least now it appears to be doing something which was not the case for the entire first month. Also running chemipure blue and phosguard along with a couple pads of poly filter in back to help cut down on some of the micro bubbles from the skimmer. Overall it's much better than before on micro bubbles...although they are still there.

Also tossed in a bottle of copepods from algaebarn. Wanted to jump start the population so hopefully that will help.
