Howdy my name is Gary and I have been a long time lurker of the forum. Had saltwater tanks growing up but have been out of it for about 20 years. I found a 150 gallon tall aquarium still wrapped with the cardboard for the store at a garage sale for $200 that I couldn’t pass up. So it’s been sitting in the garage while I have been reading up on setting up a reef tank. So I will probably be picking peoples brains here soon with questions galore. There isn’t much more to know about me so I look forward to talking with you all soon :-)

Welcome to R2R! I had a 150 tall once upon a time because I loved the dimensions but ended up never setting it up. ;Dead
One thing about that tank is due to the depth if your planning on keeping coral it can be challenging to get enough light to the lower half of the tank, but still very possible!

Not sure about a build thread just yet but will definitely think about doing one. Just now starting to play with aquascape while I’m waiting on my drill bits and overflow to come in.
