New guy - Wisco

Welcome!!

Are you keeping mostly community fish bc u r considering reef?

Was mostly going for fish that would get along and be compatible with their tankmates, but I think going forward I'll focus on keeping everything reef friendly for the long term. The other deciding factor is the size of the tank (75g) and not having a sump setup.

Welcome home, you will love it here!

Keep us posted with that FOWLR build with lots of pics! :)

I kind of toyed with that distinction myself. I don't want a tank full of fish that will ruin my corals. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind if a fish or two nibbled on pulsing xenia or gsp. I understand that they're animals, not plants, but we feed our fish shrimp and worms, even feeder fish. They're all animals. Just a big investment in lights and parameter maintenance to let them be fish food.

Welcome to R2R.
From a past Wi guy to a current one..
Best Fish is an awesome store in Milwaukee.. amazing people and extremely helpful with an awesome selection.
Also join up with Wisconsin Reef Society online. Become a member and get to know a crap load of people. They are willing to trade and sell frags from their tanks for a fraction of the price. They are all amazing folk and I miss the heck out of not being there with them anymore.
