New guy

Hey guys just joined up and currently building my first reef tank. I have been reading and researching for years and finally took the plunge. I have a 65 gallon deep blue reef ready and a 29 gallon sump. My stand is coming along and should be finished in the next few days.

Parts I have picked out so far

DC-6000 pump
RW-8 powerhead
Reef octopus 110sss skimmer
Finnex digital titanium 300 watt

Lighting has given me a headache lol. Been looking at the current usa orbit marine pro led full spectrum it's around 400 bucks.

I started wrapping my stand in maple I milled down from some 1x6x rough sawn I was using for fire wood. Turns out it looks good under that dirty surface
