Welcome to Reef2Reef!!! You may find a variety of opinions on Marine Pure media. In my experience, they break down quickly. I personally have successfully used Brightwell Marine's bio-blocks and bio-bricks, but others have found that they can also break down. Good luck with whatever you choose!

Welcome to the club...
There are apparently wide ranges in batch to batch, I had a bad batch. - sky high aluminum - pulled I t out as it was crumbling
lots of other options

And remember... step by tiny step to get started....

Hello
I am new to the hobby and I am going to purchase the new innovative marine 15 gallon cube aio
My question is would it be smart to put marine pure in the second chamber and do I not touch it after install?

Welcome! Glad you joined. Deferring to others on your tank second chamber question marine pure usage as not familiar.

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID). It is never too early to start!

This might help you find people local to you:

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
