So I think I have finely got a healthy one. Bought it off of someone selling their live stock because of moving. They had it 6 months. What do yall think? I'll have had it a week Sunday(3/2/14)
Pic took tonight with lights only being on about 10 mins to get the pic.

Nice carpet! Also cool to see someone else with the striped variety. This is ours, about 8" across. We have noticed and heard this particular species has a stronger sting than most carpets.

looks good to me, someone local to me has one they wanna rehome, i love em but they are MEAN nems

I only have one fish that I would be upset to lose and I think he can handle his own. The rest are either clowns or damsels. I love them. I want a blue or red next but I want to buy from somebody not a retailer. I don't seam to have luck with store bought ones. I also eventually want to get a gig.

I kept one for more than ten years and it certainly ate some fish I would rather it had not! The best tip I have is to always keep some amount of moonlight in the tank. Never let it get completely dark so the fish don't become disoriented and blunder into it.

Looking really good.

Like the mint green colored ones.

Nice to see healthy ones.

Thanks all! I was hoping to hear from you Trex. It has been a long road to find a healthy one. I lost two even with treatment before I got this one from a fellow hobbyist. I want a gigantea, but no one in our club has one let alone one to sell and I really don't want to store order one.

This thing is settling in and getting huge. When I removed it from the sellers DT it was maybe 8" and stayed that way in mine for about a week and a half. Now its well over 12" and the more it settles the bigger it seams to get, I'm really starting to wonder if it wasnt doing to well in the sellers tank and is why it was so small and not expanding. I was gonna feed it well so it would grow, not sure i want to do that now. Ill post pics when I'm home and lights are on.
