New hammer coral

Hi all
i just got my first hammer coral - I have dipped and placed him in my tank - should I glue him to the rock straight away or wait till he opens so that I can be happy with placement .

Place it off sand but lower third of tank under moderate light and water flow. Don’t glue yet in case you need to relocate it
