New hammer coral

Hi all I just got this new coral online and it just arrived it took 2 days to deliver from shipping so guessing very distressed but it has this kind of lime coming off just wondering what it is and if it’s ok? Thank you

thats basically a protective slime they release and develop when stressed. For example when taken out of water.

Yeah, it's the protective slime layer, just make sure your skimmer is on.

Hi all I’m starting to get worried now but not sure what you think it’s been in tank for or 14hr and still like this

Certainly looks like there is tissue recession on the right head, TBH doesn't look good IMO, but if you got a skimmer I might be inclined to give it till tmr.
