Hi, I'm Joe and I've had saltwater aquariums off and on for 25 years. I had a job at an aquarium store as a teen and that launched me into this hobby. I've had everything from a 20 gallon tank, to my current 280 gallon tank. I started my current tank 2 years ago, upgrading from a 29 gallon. Prior to this tank, the largest I had was a 100 gallon. It started small, but has grown considerably (to my wife's dismay.) She lovingly refers to it as "the other woman" and my "girlfriend." I'm definitely OCD about it and addicted to this hobby. On a recent trip to Disney, I had a scheduled World Wide Coral visit. I have 3 kiddos, a 10 year old daughter, an almost 8 year old daughter and a 2.5 year old son (who is not reef safe.) Seriously though, he knows not to mess with my timers, but his friends, not so much.
I'm looking forward to learning more about the hobby and acquiring new pieces. I'm wanting to start a second tank soon, for my frags. I have a two tier rack in mine now, but it's growing and I'm needing more space. I have just about got the wife talked into allowing this
