Hi there I would like some input or an answer on my tank.

here is my Red Sea nano 20 gallon tank.

I have had the system since September 20tb.

I have nothing except copepods amipods and I dose photo.

next week I am thinking of finally getting corals since I’ve saved up some money.

my parameters are all fine I have not tested calcium,alkalinity or magnesium yet since I am not putting anything sps in the tank at least for now.

MY QUESTION:
I have this wired algae or bacteria looking stuff growing what is it and what can I do to eliminate it if I can.

Your tank will go through stages of algae. Just keep up with maintenance and wait.

It’s mainly what’s floating in the water in the picture there isn’t much I’m just testing to be careful.
It’s brown and slimy

Sonce you do not have any livestock in the tank limit the lights. But as mentioned new tanks go thru different blooms
