Thanks. Hey ? For ya. First time with a protein skimmer I did big water changes today put in some stres coat for fish use to do everything after changes now skimmer is going nuts gave me a gallon of water the last 3 hours how long will this go in for ???

Ahh. It's gotta break in. Is it adjustable ? If so turn it down all the way. Could be the stress coat you added. Sometime additives will make the skimmers go crazy My new skimmer went crazy for the first few days then started to slowly calm down. It's normal
So figured I'd update. I found the perfect rock to finish my scape
And in my journey to the lfs. I picked up

last fish I can add. My 55 is complete on fish life.and aqua scape. Now I can concentrate on some cool corals

I got a seaclone did like 5 different mods and even modded the impeller in the pump. And this thing is boss!! I got like 2 cups of some nasty skimmate
it's stinks worse then the sound

Looking good!! I'm shocked at what the seaclone is producing!!
I know me too. I just cleaned it yesterday and there's a good amount today already, I guess when u do all these different mods it does pay off. I will say I saw the most junk after I modded the impeller. I wrapped fishing around impeller to chop up bubble more and it worked !
