Hi everyone.

I'm new to forums, but I have been visiting this site before I signed up. Already made a couple of posts here before this thread to get my feet wet, but haven't introdused myself.

This is my first reef set up , a 46gal bow 2 months in and I can't get enough of it. I love this hobby. I owned salt water tank before back in the 2000s a 200 custom tank I had for my leapard shark and wobbegon. But that's when I knew nothing of the internet and relied on my lfs.. and since forums like this I have learned I was being cruel to keep creatures in small tank. This time I plan to keep researching more and asking more before I make those same mistakes. Here is my tank. I plan to only stick with soft and some LPS corals until me and the tank mature.

Thanks to people like you and forums like this,

for a wealth of information.

If you live near the Old Tropaquarium, check our Mark at Ultimate Corals in Jackson. He has an amazing selection of hard to find corals, and his expertise goes way beyond the typical LFS. He's a Reef Keeping Maven. He helped me setup my Calcium Reactor and fine tune it. He goes way above and beyond to help you, and knows his stuff....

Hes sounds familiar, is he by appointment only? I remember taking a ride out in that direction trying to find him..this was 8-9 yrs ago

I used to go to a place out in Hamilton, Aquatic -Something..don't think their there anymore...

There is a place across the street from the old Tropiquarium who was probably happy to hear they where closing...I got mixed reviews of that place..
