New here- got a ELOS100

I am new to saltwater tanks. Got a ELOS from someone moving.

I have problems with Aptisia and favia dying.

All parameters look food except TDS3. Did 15% water changes but still TDS is still bad.

Looking to dip corals .

Any suggestions?

Welcome to R2R!!! As far is aptasia goes there are many ways to eradicate them, best method depends on how many you have. If some here and there I like to use Kalk paste or boiling water. I'm not sure what you mean by TDS being bad. Are you saying your rodi water has high TDS or your tank? For coral dip I like to use revive as a general dip or Bayer for most sps.

Welcome! now when you say TDS do you mean from you RODI water? TDS in a tank is not really useful because of a bunch of reasons. can you list your levels of your other parameters and post a pic of the tank? You came to the right plus, we will have you up and running in no time!

As already mentioned the tds reading isnt something that needs to be worried about until much later if you decide to start keeping harder to keep animals. The main things you want to focus on in the beginning is salinity, ammonia, ph, nitrates.
