Hello all and thanks in advance. So I’m new to this and need so help from you guys. Just finish my cycle about 3 week ago trying to get the my mag, dkh, and cal rite . Currently I have mag around 1600 , cal 430-450 and dkh 9.5-9.8 everything else is fine I’m my 55 gal tank . Could you guys please tell me what the ideal range for a mix reef tank would be. Also does it matter which I adjust first between mag, cal, dkh . Set up is 55 gal tank with oct hob, single power head and a dual power head. Two 165 wat led lights . If any more info is need please let me know. Looking forward to hearing from you guys and I hope I posted in the rite place

Pick a salt u want to use, and shoot for thats companies levels . Other than ur mag being a little high ur levels look good.
People run alk from 7.5 up to 11.
Calcium 420 - 450, mag 1350- 1425
The key to happy corals is a stable tank. Also I would run those 165w black box lights pretty low %, maybe like blue 40%, whites around 10%

Hey thanks man really appreciate the help. That was going to be my next question about the light but it seems like you are on top of your game .

Also what is a good light cycle for the mix reef tank currently have about 50 lbs lr with rbta , lta, and a frag that came with the tank believe it is a torch . Have it on about 12 hours a day now bt I think that’s to much ?
