Hey guys, first time joining a reef forum. Just getting back into the hobby after about a five year hiatus, maybe more. Used to have a very nice reef, to me, but it crashed not long after we had our first child. Didn't have the time to really keep up with it. Also had some sub par equipment at the time and things just went downhill when equipment started failing. We just bought a new home and I decided to start the old tank back up again same aquarium with the same rock. The aquarium is a 29 gallon with quite a bit of live rock and a sand bed. Not sure of the amount of live rock I just liked it in there until I was happy with it. Filtration is a reef octopus BH 1000 and a penguin 350 hob that I used mostly for flow and occasionally to run carbon. For flow I have two koralia gen 3 1350 power heads and an old koralia 1. For lighting I have a new fluval 2.o reef light with the wireless module. I plan on adding a second one in the near future. The tank is about 5.5 months old now and I've just recently started to really try stocking it. For fish I have a coral beauty angel and an Arabian pseudochromis. Cleanup crew is 20 or so hermits, an emerald crab, a tiger conch, and 3 Astraea turbo snails. I also have a skunk cleaner shrimp and a blue legged pistol shrimp. I had also added a yellow watchman goby but the Arabian indirectly murdered him by keeping him up on the intake of the protein skimmer and he got sucked in. I may try adding another when I go to add my percula clowns so that he can't focus on just him. Not sure about any other fish than that. Well that's the just of it. Glad to be here and be able to share with y'all.
