Good morning, we set up a 70 gallon reef tank with soft corals that a client of our vet clinic was giving away. She has had it for six years, is moving and now I am hooked. I've had fish since I was a kid starting out with those goldfish you won in arcade games. My latest disappointing foray into the world of killifish got me primed I think for the reef aquarium. Like my wise wife says, at least with the reef tank you don't have to keep it dark and wait for the fish to come out. Everyone at the office is enchanted with this tank.
So I'll be reading the books, staying in touch via the forums, and most of all enjoy watching and learning about the reef tank I am lucky to be entrusted with. My interests are more to recreating ecotypes rather than an "everything" type tank but I've a long way to go before I start that.
