Hey all,

My name is Steve.
I've been keeping freshwater since 2005.
I've had up to 15 tanks at a given time breeding as much as I could (angels, plecos, peacock gudgeons, guppies, swordtails) and growing plants.

I have had 1 FOWLR tank that I ran for about 2 years before selling it to my dad and he recently sold it. Learned quite a bit from this one project.

I've decided to downsize quite a bit and get back into saltwater.

I found a biocube 29 gallon on the side of the road a few months back and working to upgrade that for a little reef. It will be a few months before I start it (gotta sell 1 more tank before I can set it up).

Looking forward to the project ahead.

Happy fish keeping! (or in this case reefing!)

Welcome home, you will love it here!

On the side of the road? You’re bold! Keep us posted with your build with lots of pics! :)

Oh, that's funny! Forgive the assertion, but you're likely not kicking the habit, but rather just changing drugs. I thought I would start a 55g tank, and leave it at that. Now my 220g looks too small, and the basement is full of various other tanks. Plus my son is now starting his own tank. The family dog has also been eyeing an empty 40g breeder and I suspect he'll start a tank soon too.

R2R is a giant support group, so .... welcome!
