New Hermit crabs

I added 10 blue leg hermit crabs to our 230 gal reef in nov 2020
I see many of the larger ones that have grew into shells provided .
I’ve notice a bunch of tiny blue leg hermits yesterday and curios ...

Assuming they do reproduce , but do they all grow at the same rate ?

so I could assume the larger ones are what’s left of the original addition in November ?

Mine seem to grow at different rates...some of my smaller ones still look like smaller ones while some of the others seem to be getting bigger.
