New Hippo Tang help

Just purchased 2 new fish this past Friday. A Hippo Tang and a Naso Tang. Both are in QT together. Naso is doing great. But my Hippo hasn’t eaten anything to date and is bumping into everything in the 20 gal QT. His color looks great when he can’t see me but when I’m in front of the tank he lightens up. I haven’t medicated the tank with anything. Just observing them. What should I do about the Hippo and should I be concerned about him bumping into everything?

Bumping in to stuff isn’t a good sign. Does it seem like he can navigate at all? The eyes aren’t foggy-looking in the photos, is that accurate?

Also for feeding, rubber-banded red nori to a pvc pipe in QT, live blackworms elicit feeding behavior well, and live brine is almost fail-proof with tangs!

Eyes are clear and color looks great. He does seem lost. Feeding green seaweed as that’s all I have.

If he doesn’t eat this I will have to try black worms

You can also try frozen hikari spirulina brine to entice him to eat. My tangs go crazy for it. As for nori, most wild caught tangs take a little bit to understand what they are supposed to do with it.
