Definitely a scutus. Had one in one of our tanks. Grew to be about 6". Was beautiful and didn't harm anything. Then one day was never seen again. Awesome creature to watch move about.

Sweet... I Didn't run a sock just a pad and i had Chaeto that i rotated every week or two and i found a bunch of babies in there about a year after i started that tank up.

Grazers on algae or they die. I would supplement mine with algae strips already because of my fish so it was win win pkus my turbo snail munched on it also.
