I use Kessil 360w E Series on my 74 column tank. The spread is incredible. You will get shadowing though toward the sand bed if you are more than 24" front to back.

How high of a stand do I need for plenty of room? Also this will be in the center of a wall in the house so it is very accessible.

The stand for my 90 is 40" high, but that's because it's basically a built in counter top. No end to the amount of room I have in there. The stand for my 50 frag tank is closer to 36", still high, but enough room for whatever gear I want. The stand under my 60 cube is a factory built, and it's miserably short when I look at the room in the other stands. For the size skimmer and plumbing you'll need for a big tank like you're thinking, I'd think 32" would be the lowest I'd go, but I'm old and inflexible, so I need room to work.
