Currently waiting on a package from brs should be here tonight. Ordered all new gaskets for my frag tank figured it would be a good idea to replace. Some more citric acid going to let the frag tanks soak for another day in citric acid this time still some spots of coralline that wouldn’t come off. Have been mixing up a bunch of new saltwater going to get one of my old tanks going and move all live rock over to the house this weekend. Should have all coral and fish to the house by next weekend.

You do realise that a new big (sorry huge) tank is far more important in your dining room than a dinner table and chairs!

You can sit on the floor to eat man, get the tank in we need pictures! Lol

I see you mention the ATO, I have gravity fed ATO’s in both my systems as a final fail safe backup to the electronic versions. I can however recommend the Tunze Osmolator as a primary and I also have the Apex ATK.

But gravity fed/float, is sort of pretty reliable

Oh I’ve definitely come to realize that this tank is the number one priority in the house! Haha I’m definitely trying man! I’m debating on if I want a 180 or go into the 200 gallon range. I actually have a tunze ato currently on my one tank and I seem to always have problems with it. But I could give it a try with the gravity one as a backup! I’m itching to get this bad boy going!

Nice little shipment from BRS came today last thing I needed to get these frag tanks online! I figured it would be a good idea to replace all the gaskets on the used tanks.

Got my travel frag container today! I’m ready for some frag swaps!

Now we just have to find a tank.. ;)

Got the temporary tank all rolling today, moving most of my rock to that system tomorrow to get the cycle going. Should have all corals and fish home by the end of the next week!

Good luck with the rock! I'm sure it will be nice having your system going again :)

Thank you! I have definitely missed not having a tank these last couple of months.

Moved about half of my rock over to the temporary tank should be starting the cycle now! Had to scrub the rocks a bit had a fair amount of gha on them. Making progress!

Definitely going to have to upgrade my Rodi unit was reading 1 tds before flushing filters, changing colors rapidly after about 75-100 gallons of water made

Sounds exactly like the problem I had.

I think you're going to have to gas off the CO2. You can check out a video here about it. https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/content/post/Extend-Lifespan-of-DI-Resin-Reduce-CO2-How-To-Tuesday

Also another calculator

I don't think a better RODI unit will affect this, I could be wrong and there is a product out there that I am unaware of, but I think it's bound by the CO2.
