I just received a Humu Humu Triggerfish and he is my first triggerfish. I drip acclimated him for 25 minutes, however when I received him in the mail today he was kind of laying on his side, I don't think they put enough water in the bag. Long story short he swam around my tank pretty normally when introduced for about two minutes and then he went straight to the bottom of my tank and just stays there he won't really move much but when he does he looks fine. Any ideas? Should I worry?

He's been in the aquarium for about 45 minutes now and no he hasn't eaten yet.

Give him a few hrs then try and feed a little again. Triggers are weird lol.

Thanks for the help, I’ll check back in a few.

Triggers are pretty bullet proof. Do you have any rocks it can wedge into? They like that and if you don't, it might just be freaked from the shipping. Give it some time, they are awesome fish.

I have a lot of rock, hopefully he’s just a bit shocked
