New Hydra32hd Woes

Hey all, at my wits end and hope someone can help.

i have two brand new hydra 32hds on my tank. I purchased them early January 2022. From day one, one is putting out a teal hue and the other a royal blue hue. Spoke with AI customer service and sent out a new on this week. Told me to hook them up and keep the one that matches the new one closest and send back the other to them. Well i installed them and the new one has a really purple hue. So now none of them match.

any advice would be helpful.

Bizarre. Get them to send out a second one and maybe you get a color match?

I hope so, waiting to hear back from them. I could understand slight variations but these are very different.

I had the same problem with AI primes I bought a year apart. AI replaced the older one for free.

Yeah funny story, it was no issue for them to send a replacement out and i was very happy. Then fedex delivered to someone elses house and lost it. So AI immediately sent another and charged fedex. They have been great to me so far. I just want it fixed ya know.

Wow! Never heard of that. Seems really strange.
I have 4 16HD's and they are all the same.

Yeah and i have tried resetting them, connecting them as new etc. tried different presets, even 100% “lights on”. Even desperate enough i unplugged them from my Apex and plugged them straight into the wall…no change
