Want to do something different with a 20 gallon. Not the typical clowns and corals. Any suggestions would be great.

Maybe some BTA's when you get the parameters just right
Ok I’m just a little afraid of BTA’s cause I’ve had a 20 cube with like 14 to 13 alk and I can’t get it down. I’ve done my weekly water changes for the past two months and no changes. But my coral seam great so I don’t know if my tests are wrong or if they are just hardy.

I am actually probably going to set up another nano reef for exactly what I suggested. After recently adding a few to my current nano and seeing all the wild variations out there they are very appealing. Plus their feeding response is pretty cool to watch!

Yeah the colors are crazy on them. I might watch a video on them and their feeding response. Thanks for the suggestion.

Another suggestion for something out of the ordinary would be some clams or a clam added in the mix. You dont have to spend 200+ for some amazing coloring and patterns. And some require relatively low par (100-150) to keep them happy.

I actually wondered about that I always thought they were just filter feeders. I didn’t know they needed light as well. That’s sounds cool as well.

Check this out......

Have you tested your freshly mixed SW? Water changes should be bringing it down ... unless the batch of salt you're using is mixing high to begin with.

As for anemones/shrimp ... could do several anemones and a bunch of sexy shrimp and/or anemone crabs.

Wow the colors are insane on them. I like the purple and blue at the bottom of the first page.

Yeah I tested and it was at 11 it has gone down about .5 from 14 to 13.5 but it still has been two months. And I’ve never heard of anemone crabs, I’m gonna search them up now thanks.

Here's a 26 Bow i had. Mostly easy weed corals, zoa and shrooms. Very easy care
