Just wanted to stop in and say hi! I'm new to the group and just started cycling my new IM Nuvo 10 with an AI Prime.
Only put live rock and sand in there at the moment. But one piece had a mushroom and a couple of smaller sprouts of the same mushroom on it and another has a turquoise colored candy coral (??? I think that's what it's called). There appears to be some sponge too and I just found a small snail this morning.
We got the rock from our LFS that sells them straight from their established fish tanks and we're using the water from their tanks as well. We also have been dosing with Microbacter 7.
We have some good color on the rocks that I hope we won't lose. So far everything seems ok, but we're only on the second day.
Have had a 55gal years ago when we lived in Hawaii and we're very spoiled with the filtered seawater from the Honolulu Aquarium and the availability and diversity of fish at our LFS.
