New in the reef life

hi all,
I’m new in the reef life, i have 150gallon of display tank, and about 50gallon of sump.
I have bubble magus c9 skimmer, my qouestion is, too many small bubbles going into the main tank. This prombel is still on the maximum or minimum position. I saw on some videos was smaller tank with same c9 skimmer and clear water without an small bubbles.
The cycling is not ready yet, the
temperature 26c. I used the RO water (4 stage system) and red sea pro salt. The water is clear without the skimmer..
any one idea?

Welcome to r2r!! I would try to add a sponge filter before it goes to the return pump to catch them.

Welcome to the site! I would try a prefilter on your return pump to see if that helps. I am battling this too, but I think its the way i have a pipe routed. Good luck

I have some upgrade on the sump, one gate had leak, so i just cut out and take new.
I had two done pipe with socks, and ceramic balls phosphate bag and actuved carbon reactor, and after the skimmer, 3 gates and after the return pump. I wating the other reactor for phosthate, i will change tha bags to reactor.
Now the water level is low and the pump is off, i just now fixit the broken gate.

Ok so you have got bubble traps incorporated in your sump ..as mentioned above I would add some filterflos in one of the bubble traps after your skimmer . .i have the c6 skimmer ...but never had any issues ...

Hi all,
I got the f... leaking on the main tank not too lucky place (back glass middle bottom part..:/) not big just leaking, ( i was lucky i just waste 150 gallon of saltwater...) anyway. I need to take back to the garage and make some preparing. So i have time to do any modification on the sump. Becouse the bubble problem still with the floss filter :/
If any one have idea about the better pipework or anything i be happy to read to that. Many thanks for any help
