Got a new "plug and play" inkbird temperature controller. Plug in, says tanks 83 degrees. The little battery one you buy for like 3 bucks says 69.9. What should I do?

Those cheap temp monitors are trash.. spend a little money and get a accurate one to check your inkbird

You want to know which is accurate. Get cup of ice water(water with ice cube, enough cubes to float, NOT fill completely cup with cubes), submerge temp probe from Ink bird. Should say 32°, anything different, reset it, if possible. Try the $3 one. Same reading.
I have 2 inkbird, one as emergency. I plastic coat probe mine is metal.
