Hey everybody! Just got my new 30L in and setup!! I would say I have slightly more than beginner experience but not much more than that. I plan on having “easier” or “lower maintenance” corals for now probably softies and Lps until I get that sps itch ‍♂️ I’ll be asking plenty of newbie questions and looking for opinions!

equipment list:
-30L Nuvo fusion with Aps stand
- Stock mighty jet 538gph return pump
-Titanium 100W heater and cooling fan with inkbird controller
-2 AI prime HD’s
- Nero 3 powerhead
- Icecap ATO

Future additions:
- 4 stage Ro/Di
- new media racks
- second return pump
- maybe skimmer

stock wish list:
-clown pair
- regal/hippo tang
- yellow watchman gobble and pistol shrimp

Will be working on the aqua scape this week and will update as I go!

After hours of trial and error finally found the Aqua scape I love! Opinions?

Everything look good except your stock list. You can’t keep any tang long term in a tank that small, definitely not a hippo tang. They will out grow it with in a year.

I appreciate that! Wasn’t sure! Thanks

Got my two clowns to start! They have been doing great for the last 3 days and eating like pigs. Tank is going nice and smooth for now!

My 30L has the following
2 clowns
YWG and Pistol
Green clown goby
6-line wrasse

Lights are on! Trying to find a good mixed reef setting for them now!

The tank is starting to come alive. We now have 2 clowns, a yellow watchman goby and candy cane pistol shrimp, a tail spot blenny, and two small frags (zoas and clove polyp).
