Hi all, i gotten a japanese toadstool 3 days back. But ever since its been place in my tank, until now it still doesn't finish shed. I can still see some waxing. Usually how long does it take for them to shed and extend back polyps ?
Currently I'm placing them on mid light mid flow. Should i be changing it's position or just leave it be ?

All my params are good, no issue with my other corals as well.

FWIW, while it's typical to only take a few days to a week, I've had toadstools take several weeks to go through the shedding process and open back up. I'd be patient. Everytime a coral is moved to a new location with different conditions it has to adjust it's photobiology which is another source of stress so moving it around can only slow down the acclimating process.

agree with above, a few days up to a week.
Just ensure there is adequate flow in the tank so that it can shed itself.

Noted with thanks.
In that case, i shall just wait for a week and see how it's progress.

Just leave it and it will open up eventually. As mentioned shedding time can vary and acclimation to tanks. Toadstool are easy so you should be ok.
