Hi there Reefers,

I'll be posting updates on my 50 gallon SCA cube.
Currently setting up the new Jebao 3.4 wifi doser which works with the Jebao Aqua app on iPhone. Pretty impressed with the app interface so far with regards to calibration and programming.

I am curious to see how this product works as the Jabo I have I have had to do a bunch of replacements on. (I do have an older model).

Hopefully they were easy and inexpensive replacements. What kind of issues did you see with the older model?

Jebao included one extra head in this box.

I have had to hard solder the power supply on the board as it did not make good connections. 2 of the pumps corroded and stopped working which required new soldered in. The unit is easy enough to work on as it is a simple design. I am looking for a simpler pump one that can be controlled remotely so I can make changes while out at the office or out of state, but I don't like the prices of the apex doser.

I bought one 2 weeks ago, been trying to connect to wifi: dont work. sending it back to seller for replacement.

So i purchased on also and in the begining had an issue with connectingto the WIFI but figured it out. Since i have comcast internet i had to call or chat comcast to split my wifi to a 2.4 and a 5.0 Wifi connection where both show up when i want to connect to the wifi. I Connected my Cell phone (I Phone 10s) to the 2.4 and downloaded the APP Jebao Aqua and it connected perfect. I also calibrated it with no issues and worked great.

Its a great Doser. Its super easy to set up. Just gotta figure out the wifi issue.

Which step did you get stuck on?
I am having similar connection issues. The app discovers my WiFi but when the device is selected to be added it gives a “device not found error”.

I agree that you have to make sure your router has a 2.4ghz frequency in order for it to work. Mine connected easily and for the past 2 months the doser works as expected. It’s a perfect size and easy to setup! Hopefully it will remain reliable with time.

Turn off the 5.0 internet while attempting to connect it , that’s how I got mine to connect the first time

I disabled the 5.0 ghz, only running on 2.4ghz. I get to the point where it is counting to 100 for connection, and always end up with "failed". I strongly believe I have a defective unit.

Same issue here. I just got mine today. I tried disconnecting the 5.0 ghz but it counted to 100 and didn´t find the doser. Any help will be appreciated.

Did you figure out the connection problem? I am having my self.

Found the fix...had to rename wifi SSID to "WI-FI". Looks weird and stupid, but had no issue connecting after.

Is it working as expected? I returned mine and might get a new one if you find it worth it.

Can you change the dosing from anywhere in the world with internet, or do you have to be home to modify settings?
