I bought a mocha storm clown a couple days ago. Acclimated it how i usually acclimate everything. It seems okay except for the fact that when the power heads in my biocube are on it just swims in the current all day kinda close to the surface. I just shut off the power heads to give it a break because i don't want it to hurt itself. Is this a sign that something is wrong? Thanks in advance

Clownfish are notorious on doing strange things. It's settling in let it be it will figure it out

Any other signs of issue? Rapid breathing or not eating? Did you quarantine the fish?

Ime clowns are strange creatures I have two mochas myself. Sounds pretty normal

you will see them go through stages of doing strange things. ive seen mine go from staying on the substrate to making a rock their special place, now to hanging out at the heater. during the day, they also hang out at seperate ends of the tank.
they generally seem to be creatures of habit. they like a spot, and they stay there often. i wouldnt be concerned.
